“Warm hospitality and delightful B&B made for wonderful 30th anniversary celebration”
Candy and Dan have created a delightful B&B and made our stay absolutely wonderful with their warm hospitality, attention to detail, yummy breakfast, and enjoyable conversation. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. The neighbor location was quiet, but within walking distance to downtown Napa where we enjoyed a variety of wonderful restaurants. Candy helped us narrow the list of wineries we were interested in visiting. The location of the Arbor Guest House is several blocks from Highway 29, but is a quick trip back to the highway for a relaxing day of wine tasting. We look forward to staying again.

“We are recommending this B&B to all of our family and friends”
We did a lot of research on B&Bs in Napa Valley and this one seemed to have the best accommodations for the best value. We stayed in the La Stanza room which was one of the smaller rooms but had a sitting room which made it feel more like a suite. The bathroom was a little on the smaller side but VERY clean and had a very large tub.
My husband and I are a little particular with food but the breakfast that was served was absolutely beyond our expectations. I'm still thinking about the French toast and would love to have the recipe to make it myself! The wine tasting was great because it was a nice chance to mingle with Candy and Dan as well as the other guests. It was a great time to get restaurant and wine tour recommendations. Usually when a place advertises "wine and appetizers" it ends up being a small sample of wine and basic cheese and crackers. Well, the wine flowed generously and the appetizers were delicious!
The landscaping is beautiful and the gazebo and deck offer wonderful places to catch up on a good book. The location is nice, about a 1.25 mile walk to downtown Napa. The neighborhood is very quite and peaceful.
We highly recommend this B&B to our closest friends and family.

“Five Star Experience”
We stayed at Arbor Guest House for two days, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The decor was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and beautifully appointed, the housekeeping impeccable, and the attention to detail demonstrated our innkeepers focus on their guests. The delicious breakfasts, the wine and hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon, even the in-room coffee all made for a comfortable and memorable two day stay. I am very selective about our vacation lodging, Cleanliness, comfort, decor, and amenities are important and are key to an enjoyable vacation experience. This inn was by far a Five Star property.

“An Awesome First Bed and Breakfast Experience”
This was my first trip to Napa Valley and my fiancé’s and mine's first bed and breakfast experience. The owners Dan and Candy were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel like we were staying at a friend's house. The small size of the house made everything more intimate and their recommendations for wine tasting tours were excellent. We had a great time and will definitely stay at the Arbor Guest House for our next trip to Napa!

“The ultimate B&B experience made even more wonderful with wine!”
Dan and Candy were excellent owner/hosts. They made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Dan provided us with free wine tasting vouchers to various wineries in Napa. They gave us great recommendations of other wineries we should see and even offered to make all necessary reservations for tastings and dinner. The evening wine tasting at the house (the word "tasting" being used very loosely) was a lot of fun hanging out and meeting some of the other people staying there. The rooms were really nice and the bed was extremely comfortable! Breakfast the next morning was excellent. While we were checking out, we asked Dan what methods people in the past chose to get all there bottles of wine back home (You will have a lot by the time you leave!). He was nice enough to offer us one of his foam coolers to transport the wine. All we had to do was check it at the airport, which was much easier/cheaper than having to mail everything. Thanks Dan and Candy for an excellent stay in Napa and we look forward to coming back!

“Loved it!”
My husband and I traveled from Las Vegas to Northern CA for our honeymoon recently. We chose the Arbor Guest House based on review and pics online. We were presently surprised when it was even more fantastic in person. Dan & Candy were so friendly and helpful, they really made our trip so much better than we expected. They gave excellent suggestions on where to eat, wineries, etc. The room was large, comfortable and pristine! Everything about the Arbor Guest House was fantastic, but one of the highlights was breakfast. Each morning we were treated to a gourmet breakfast homemade by Candy. It was by far the best breakfast we've had in a long time. I would highly recommend the Arbor Guest House to anyone traveling through Napa. I know we will be back very soon! Thanks Dan & Candy!

“Wonderful Experience”
My husband and I were so pleased with our stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had the best two nights of sleep! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We also appreciated Candy's recommendations for wine tastings, and she went out of her way to set up reservations for us. Wonderful place to stay while visiting Napa.

“Wonderful, personal B&B”
If you are looking for a personal, friendly and intimate B&B in the Napa district, there is no need to look any further. I cannot imagine any better place to stay than at Arbor. It is perfect for a romantic getaway, and Candy is surely one of the nicest and most caring innkeepers you will ever find. Not only did she serve great breakfasts and help us with everything from complimentary wine tastings and restaurant tips to finding duct tape for our wine shipment box but also brought out glasses of champagne when she heard we had gotten engaged (which actually took place on the premises) and invited our Napa friend to share the moment with us! The rooms are luxurious (we had a spa in ours) and the neighborhood is a calm residential area, but still close to everything you need. I would love to come back to Arbor, and oh, don't miss out on Schramberg either! Great bubbles!

“Never Disappointed!”
This inn is wonderful! We stay here often and we are never disappointed! Dan and Candy, the inn owners, are so hospitable. They go above and beyond to make sure our stay is always memorable. They set up a private tasting at a winery with some very good friends of ours, made wonderful restaurant recommendations, and provided us with great conversation during the nightly wine and food served in their lovely living room. We are already counting the days until we visit the Arbor Guest House again. :)

“Just what we needed”
The Arbor House is located within walking distance of downtown Napa, a town with quaint shops and good restaurants. The grounds of Arbor House are beautifully maintained, including the Bocce Ball court. Our bed was more comfortable than our own; the breakfast was excellent-a special egg and cheese dish with fruit, juice, coffee and tea. Wine and snacks are provided from 5:30 to 6:30. The House is fun to stay in and owners Danny and Candy are wonderful hosts.

“Outstanding Hospitality”
The innkeepers served delicious breakfast and coffee, as well as tasty wine and hors d’oeuvres each evening. Their company and conversation were delightful! The rooms and the inn are updated, impeccably clean, and extremely comfortable. The linens were fluffy and fresh; beds and pillows were comfortable, as well. The outside yard is beautiful, private, and relaxing! We felt safe and well taken care of during our entire stay. We highly recommend the Arbor Guest House to anyone passing through or staying in Napa!

“Great Experience, comfortable accommodations, amazing perks in spa package :)”
The rooms were cute and comfortable, and the atmosphere was friendly. We got the spa package, and the couple's massage was wonderful! The gourmet breakfast was delicious, especially the sticky buns.
You will probably not get a better deal for this price. I highly recommend it.

Dan and Candy are so welcoming and attentive to their guests needs. They are great at activity and restaurant suggestions and will even book for you. We even got a 2 for 1 coupon for our castle tour from Dan. Very clean. Beautiful grounds and sitting areas. Wonderful breakfast. We will be back!

For our first trip to Napa and Sonoma Valleys, I chose the Arbor Guest House based on the many positive reviews. Traveling with my husband and parents, I can wholeheartedly say that not only did the B&B and its owners Dan and Candy meet our expectations, they far exceeded them.

First and foremost, the Arbor Guest House was meticulously clean and welcoming, with large rooms and comfortable beds. The decor was beautiful, and the outdoor area is lovely, with an old Sequoia tree, gazebo, and courtyard. The location was perfect--we spent time traveling both Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

As for Dan and Candy, you could not pick two more gracious and hospitable people to be your hosts. Candy's breakfasts are phenomenal (and major eyecandy!), and evening wine & cheese with Dan was a highlight of the day. They go out of their way to make sure you have the best stay possible!

I can't recommend this place enough. If traveling to Napa, the Arbor Guest House will make your trip truly memorable

“From Home to "Home"”
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Arbor House. The house was run by family and we were treated like family. The bed was as comfortable as our bed at home! The appetizers, family -made wine and breakfasts were fabulous. Dan and Candy were gracious hosts and it was evident that they love what they do. I have to sleep using medical equipment (CPAP). It is always nice to have access to multiple electrical outlets but an old home does not provide that. We worked it out and did just fine! We would highly recommend Arbor House!

“Can't wait for our next stay here”
The Arbor Guest House was absolutely beautiful with outstanding innkeepers who made our stay so special. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Our room (Garden Room) was clean, comfortable, and very charming. We enjoyed the gorgeous grounds, playing bocce ball and drinking wine in the evening. Dan and Candy were so helpful with recommendations for wineries and local restaurants. We even got an amazing couples massage by the massage therapist, Diane, in our room. Talk about relaxing! The entire visit far exceeded our high expectations. We definitely will be recommending the Arbor Guest House to all our family and friends, as well as planning our next stay there for our future visits to Napa!
